I've just finished the 16-episode K-Drama "Cheongdamdong Alice". Some dialogs are just too good to be left alone. LOL. People may not understand the meaning, if they didn't watch the series. 

Anyway, I find the story rather interesting and different. It's not like the common comedy-romance, which we all can guess the plot. It's more honest, I think. It's not just prince and princess' fairy tales, where everybody loves unconditionally and "all you need is love"-kinda thing exists. 

Long story short, I really like it (Moreover, there is Park Shi Hoo as the lead. Hohoho...).

Kerja untuk Tuhan

Tiba-tiba saja gue keinget sama percakan kecil di kelas 2D-Design dulu. Dosen gue adalah seorang profesor design pertama di Indonesia (cukup 'wah' kan... xD).  Berhubung gue punya interest banget sama seni, gue suka aja ngobrol sama beliau dan dengar cerita-ceritanya. Nggak perlu 100% sesuai dengan silabus semesteran, tapi kisah hidup beliau sendiri seru buat disimak. Apalagi koleksi-koleksi seni yang dimiliki Pak Yongki ini. Beliau punya ratusan slide lukisan dari jaman dulu banget sampe seni-seni komtemporer. Gue sempet ditunjukin slide-slide tersebut.

Pelajaran dengan beliau sedikit banyak semakin memantapkan gue untuk belajar sejarah seni, walaupun sekarang jalurnya harus muter dikit dan nggak bisa pake jalan tol. Keinginan untuk belajar itu masih ada sampai sekarang.

In this episode the Dragon Brothers (Cha Tae Hyeon, Kim Jong Kook, Jang Hyuk) are together xD. Love them so much! 

They're playing the screaming challenge. Everyone had to scream 'omija' (a kind of fruit they picked that day)  as loud as possible. The winner was the one who screamed with the highest decibel and would be the 'Dinner King', which means he didn't have to work at dinner preparation. 

Cha Tae Hyeon, who also known as the laziest guest, won the challenge and become the Dinner King. 

This part always makes me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it.

Beberapa updates mengenai kegiatan gue belakangan ini (berhubung gue absen nulis berminggu-minggu)

Gue di Berlin dong!! Ikut acara Natalan KMKI di sana, sekalian liburan. Cukup menyenangkan, menambah berat badan, dan menguras dompet. Tapi, gue seneng banget kok :DD

Gue ketemu Dunkin Donuts!!!! Maigat, akhirnya!

Beberapa hari terakhir, gue suka nonton film silat bareng-bareng cici gue. Dari sekian banyak judul, akhirnya kita nonton juga film keluaran tahun 2011 berjudul Shaolin (Andy Lau, Jackie Chan, Nicholas Tse). Gue udah pernah nonton film ini di biskop waktu di Indo sebenernya, cuman berhubung kita berdua (gue dan cici) lagi kesemsem sama film silat, jadinya gue nonton lagi. 

Cuplikan percakapan di atas buat gue dan cici gue itu 'ngena' banget. 

A piece of gold or a pile of dirt. Siapapun kalau ditanya mana yang lebih berharga, pasti jawab emas. Tapi, untuk satu buah biji, tanah lebih berharga. Tanpa tanah, biji tersebut nggak bisa hidup. 

Pesan yang bisa kita tangkap adalah bahwa semua orang punya peran tersendiri dalam hidupnya. Istilahnya, sampah aja bisa jadi pupuk. Kalau kita, setiap individu, punya peran berbeda yang dikasih sama Tuhan, untuk apa kita membanding-bandingkan diri dengan yang lain?

Sebenernya, udah beberapa lama ini, rasa percaya diri gue berkurang drastis. Rasanya gue jadi rada anti sosial dan lebih nyaman kalau sendirian. Padahal, manusia itu kan makhluk sosial, butuh interaksi dengan orang lain. Susahnya, di sini kalau mau berinteraksi dengan orang lain itu butuh usaha ekstra. Dengan bahasa yang udah beda, ditambah kultur dan pola pikir yang juga beda, ke-pede-an gue untuk berinteraksi hampir menyentuh tanah. Rasanya gue takut sama manusia.
