The Blueprint ♥

"Ujung Pena" was made because of my curiousity of having a blog. Not a "Wow" reason, really. Well, I am also inspired by some people whose works are known through blogs. 

Besides, I do really like writing, though my ability is far below the standard to be called an author. 

The name "Ujung Pena" come up after some thinking. It means "the tip of a pen". I wanted an indonesian name that unique and simple, though I found out later, that there are some other blogs with the same name (guess, I'm not that creative either).

I'm bad with things like programming or so. Please excuse me with the simple layout and design. Believe me, this is as far as I can. 

I began with a diary.

I found out that my hand speaks better than my tounge and my brain works together really well with pens. Through pen and papers and paints , I can describe and explain almost everything, even things that are difficult to explain. It gives me so much pleasure and satisfaction. 

I also like to read my old writings and somehow it reminds me about pretty things in the past, as well as the bad things, from which I can always learn something. 

I wrote honestly and directly from my head about things I like, feelings and thoughts I have, people I hate and love. I post some papers and assignments from school too, which I thought quite interessting. Basically, I post randomly.

I also include some poems and short stories. I really have to practise more with those fiction-kinds of writing. 

Sometimes it took pages, that my sister once asked me: "Do you write a novel or what?"

Other times I could just stop writing for months. This happens when I haven't enough time or ideas, or just because I'm not in the mood and too lazy to begin writing. 

I really want to keep writing regularly, but it seems not as easy as I thought. 

I wrote in Bahasa Indonesia (mostly), English, and German. My German is far from perfect, yet it is the most important language for me now as I live in Germany for further years (due to my studies). So excuse me for any mistakes in grammar, vocabulary, or else, I'm still learning and writing is one of my way to practice this incredibly complicated language. 

I could promise nothing (neither some extraordinary-wonderful-exquisite writings nor that I will write continuosly) to make people visit this site and read my amateur works as I don't really care about how many people have visited "Ujung Pena". Because I like writing itself, hence I'm quite satisfied with just be able to write.
